Update 27/11/16
A lot of work has been done since I posted any news. I tend to focus most of my updates on twitter so check there for more updates.
New enemies have been added, the terrain system is fully functioning, the player can attack, be attacked, level up and use spells and items.
Ive also added The Library and The Blacksmith

The tile system has been recoded and is working quite nicely.
I still need to sort out the UV texturing though.

New Tile system update 26/04/16
So I've been adding in the new tile system that I have designed for the Grimoire of Worlds.
The system is loosely based on voxels so gives a lot more depth and shape to the world. It still uses 3D models for the tiles though so you don't get the blocky style normally associated with a voxel game.
As you can see from the image there is still a lot of work to be done. I still have problems with holes in the chunk mesh where tiles are not loading, and there is a texture bleed problem but that one will be easy to fix as I need to UV texture the tiles anyway.

News 17/04/16
So I've been looking into rewriting chunk generation so that I'm using a voxel system. It will give much more shape to my worlds and keep things much more interesting. Unfortunately work is taking up a lot of my time of late so we shall see how quickly this rewrite takes and even if it is feasible at the end of it all...

well I've got this temporary website up and running. I doubt anyone will really visit it so I've not expended to much effort on it for now.
As for programming aspects of the Grimoire its at a sort of playable state. You can kill enemies, they can kill you. A temporary map is working, the inventory is working, a temporary levelling up system is working. The magic carpet item is working, and the portal for traveling between worlds is working(somewhat)
But theres still an endless amount to do :P
